Remote Play enables you to stream and play PlayStation 4 games directly from your PS4 to a Windows PC or Mac computer.
Local multiplayer is not available using two DS4 controllers on PC/Mac, but you can play local multiplayer if one person is playing on PC while another plays on the linked PS4.
At present Remote Play for PC/Mac does not support microphone use through the DS4 or PC/Mac audio inputs. However, if connected directly to your PC/Mac output you can still hear other Party members.

In order to use Remote Play, you must first enable it on your PS4 by doing the following:
Choose [Settings] > [Remote Play Connection Settings], and then check the box for [Enable Remote Play].
Select [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/ Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] > [Activate].
Choose [Settings] > [Power Save Settings] > [Set Features Available in Rest Mode].
An installation dialog box appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the application. During the installation, you might see a request to download additional software that’s needed to use [PS4 Remote play]. Follow the on-screen instructions to download this software.
If you want to connect to a PS4 other than your primary, you can manually register (pair) it with your computer.
At this point, an eight-digit code appears on the screen. Take note of this code as you will need it soon. Also, a count timer starts at 300 seconds giving you five minutes to complete the registration process.
Note: If [Register Manually] doesn’t appear in the lower left, do the following:
Enter the eight-digit code you noted earlier.
The system should now connect and you will see a notification on the PS4 system stating you have joined via Remote Play
Note: Some games do not support Remote Play.
In Control Panel, click [Programs and Features], and then uninstall [PS4 Remote Play].
Drag [PS4 Remote Play] from the Applications solder to the Trash, and then choose [Finder] > [Empty Trash].
You can’t remotely play games in 4K from your PS4 Pro system, but up to 1080p may be available depending on hardware and bandwidth limitations. This is limited to 720p on standard PS4 systems.
If you’d like to use 1080p (30fps) for Remote Play, your broadband will need to be at least 15Mbps whether broadcasting or receiving. However, your PS4 Pro will adapt streaming quality to take changes in broadband speed into account to maximise gameplay stability.
