To start a PlayStation Now game, open the PlayStation Now app, navigate to a game and select Stream or Download if available. Downloaded games can be found in your PS5 Games Library or PS4 Library.
To stream games to your PS5 console, PS4 console, or PC, a broadband connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps is required. To stream in 1080p, you must be playing a game that supports that resolution, and have a broadband connection with a speed of at least 15 Mbps. If your connection speed dips below this, the streaming resolution may be reduced.
When streaming PlayStation Now games, try enabling game mode (if supported) on your TV for an improved gaming experience.
You can share your PlayStation Now games with other players on one PS5 console with Console Sharing and Offline Play enabled and one PS4 console activated as your Primary PS4. With these settings turned on, PlayStation Now games you stream or download can be accessed by other players.
Please note that child family members can only access games that are age-appropriate (according to the age rating of the games). Child family members aren't able to access the PlayStation Now app and certain PlayStation Now games.
We have mapped these PS3 commands to the DualSense™ (and DUALSHOCK®4) wireless controller touchpad. Click the left side for SELECT and the right for START, just like the DUALSHOCK 3 controller. Make sure that you click the touchpad as this will not work if you touch or tap it.
You can't be signed in on two devices and stream PS4 games. For example, if you are watching Netflix on your console and start streaming a PS4 game on your PC, you will be disconnected from the console using Netflix. You can, however, be signed in on a PS5 console or PS4 console while you stream PS3 games on PC. Some PS5 and PS4 functions are also not compatible when streaming PS Now games:
After you finish streaming a PlayStation Now game on a PS5 console or PS4 console, you will be asked to rate your experience. Your feedback will help us to make improvements to the PlayStation experience.
