Console Sharing and Offline Play on PS5™ consoles

Find out how to enable Console Sharing and Offline Play on PS5 consoles to share your purchases and some subscription benefits with other players.

The Console Sharing and Offline Play setting links a PS5 console to your account and allows you to share your games and media with other players on that console. 

PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play limits

You can enable Console Sharing and Offline Play on one PS5 console at a time. If you enable the setting on a new PS5 console, the Console Sharing and Offline Play setting on your other PS5 console will be disabled. Other users on the disabled console won’t be able to play your games and media. 

PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play does not affect your primary PS4 activation limit.

How to enable PS5 console sharing

PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play is automatically enabled on the PS5 console you use to sign in to PlayStation™Network for the first time.

  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play
  2. Select Enable.

How to disable PS5 console sharing

  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play
  2. Select Disable.

How to remotely disable PS5 console sharing

To deactivate consoles you no longer have, visit Device Management.
