You can sign up for PlayStation™Vue from anywhere in the country and start watching right away, even if you're not at home. (Just make sure to sign in to PlayStation™Vue within the first 30 days of your subscription from the home zip code you chose when you subscribed.)

You can subscribe to PlayStation™Vue from:

Here are the steps to subscribe:

  • You’ll need an account on PlayStation™Network* with an associated U.S. based, valid credit card card and a residential address on file. Don’t have an account on PlayStation Network*? Create one now.

Note: If a PO box or business account is associated with your account, you will need to manually adjust your address in order to subscribe to PlayStation™Vue.

  • Check out the available plans and channels for your area at psvue.com/plans (make sure to enter your zip code).

Note: You can also review channels and plans in the PlayStation™Vue app on a PlayStation® console, through Amazon Pay on an Amazon Fire TV device, and within the PS Vue app on an Android mobile phone.

  • On the web, click START FREE TRIAL on psvue.com to visit psvue.com/subscribe. Add the plan you want (and/or any individual channels and add-ons) to your cart and check out. The Ultra plan does not have a free trial.

Note: You can also purchase a PlayStation™Vue subscription in the PS Vue app on a PlayStation® console, through Amazon Pay on an Amazon Fire TV device, and within the PS Vue app on an Android mobile device.

  • Set up up your first profile on any device and start enjoying PlayStation™Vue ! Read more about setting up a profile.

If you have an Apple TV® or Roku® Player or TV, you will also need to activate the device. Learn more about device activation for Apple TV® and Roku® Players and TVs.

About free trials: One free trial per customer is available for the Elite plan, Core plan, Access plan, add-on channel, and each standalone channel subscription. The Ultra plan does not have a free trial. Free trials can be enjoyed immediately after signing up for a subscription and can be cancelled at any time during the free trial period. A credit card is required to redeem your free trial. You will not be charged for your multi-channel plan or individual channel subscription during the free trial period. To avoid being charged for your subscription, you must cancel before the end of the free trial period. If you do not cancel before the end of the last day of the trial, you automatically begin your monthly subscription, and you will be charged a monthly fee every 30 days based on your chosen plan until you cancel. If you cancel your multi-channel plan subscription, your add-on channel subscription will also be cancelled. To cancel:  on PS4™ and PS3™ consoles go to ‘Settings” in the PlayStation™Vue app, select ‘Subscription’, and click ‘Unsubscribe; or log in to psvue.com/subscription and click ‘Cancel Subscription’ under ‘Subscription Summary’; or call 877.883.7669. There are no penalties for cancellation and you may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you will still have access for the rest of the month already paid for.

What’s the next step after I purchase a PlayStation™Vue subscription?

When you first purchase PlayStation™Vue through a PlayStation® console, through Amazon Pay on an Amazon Fire TV device, or at psvue.com/subscribe, the next step is to set up your first profile. You can set up your first profile from any supported device, from anywhere in the country. Just make sure to sign in to PlayStation™Vue from the zip code you chose during subscription, at least once in the first 30 days of your subscription.

After you create your first profile, you can create up to nine additional profiles, for ten profiles total. Each profile comes with personalized DVR and recommendations. You can set up these additional profiles on the web from a computer at  psvue.com/watch, or on the PlayStation™Vue app on Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, or a PS4™ or PS3™ console.

Tip: You can edit profile names on the PlayStation™Vue mobile app.

Note: If you have an Apple TV® or Roku® Player or TV, you will also need to activate the device. Learn more about device activation for Apple TV® and Roku® Players and TVs.

When does my billing cycle begin?

Your billing cycle begins as soon as your first free trial period has ended. If you’ve already had a free trial, your billing cycle will commence immediately upon purchase and you will be charged the monthly subscription fee when you checkout. The Ultra plan does not have a free trial; your billing cycle will commence immediately upon purchase and you will be charged the monthly subscription fee when you checkout. PlayStation™Vue subscriptions and all additional subscriptions through PlayStation™Vue will automatically renew on the monthly anniversary of your subscription start date. However, if your billing date is the 30th or 31st of the month, in a month with fewer days you will instead be charged - and your subscription will auto-renew - on the last day of that month.

How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my subscription?

You can make adjustments to your PlayStation™Vue subscription – including upgrades, downgrades, and cancelling - by logging in at psvue.com/subscription, or within the PS Vue app on a PlayStation® console, or Android mobile device.

To make adjustments to your subscription from a PlayStation®4 or PlayStation®3 console:

  3. Click ‘Cancel Subscription’ under ‘Subscription Summary’

About Amazon Pay on Amazon Fire TV devices:  If you subscribed to PS Vue through Amazon Pay on an Amazon Fire TV device, you can modify your subscription only through Amazon Pay on your Amazon Fire TV device. You can, however, cancel a subscription made through Amazon Pay by 1) Amazon Pay on an Amazon Fire TV device, 2) the PS Vue app on a PlayStation® console or Android mobile device, or 3) by logging in at psvue.com/subscription. For more information on Amazon Pay, please visit https://pay.amazon.com/us/help/201754640 on the Amazon website.

Note: If you are downgrading your service in the middle of your billing cycle, you will still continue to receive the upgraded package for the rest of the month and will not receive any refund or credit. The next billing cycle will start your new plan and you will be charged accordingly.

If you are upgrading your service in the middle of your billing cycle, you will be charged the pro-rata price difference and immediately upon purchase confirmation you will receive access to the upgraded plan.

Can I change my payment due date once my subscription begins?

Unfortunately, changing your payment due date is not possible at this time. You can, however, cancel your subscription to PlayStation™Vue and re-subscribe on the day you wish your billing cycle to start.

To cancel: On PS4™ and PS3™ consoles, go to ‘Settings” in the PlayStation™Vue app, select ‘Subscription’, and click ‘Unsubscribe; or log in to psvue.com/subscription and click ‘Cancel Subscription’ under ‘Subscription Summary’, or call 877.883.7669. There are no penalties for cancellation and you may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you will still have access for the rest of the month already paid for.

I am seeing error messages about my location. What should I do?

PlayStation™Vue and your location
You can use PlayStation™Vue from anywhere in the USA! You can even sign up outside your home area and start watching right away. However, you must return to your home area within the first 30 days of your subscription. After you’ve signed into PlayStation™Vue from your home area once within the first 30 days of your subscription, you can watch PlayStation™Vue from any location for 60 consecutive days before you must check in again from your home area. Read more about watching PlayStation™Vue away from home.

If you are outside your home area for longer than the timeframes mentioned above, you may receive certain error messages regarding unavailability of PlayStation™Vue or interruption of service. These errors can usually be resolved by signing into PlayStation™Vue from your home zip code.

Note: If you are in your home area but are still receiving a message or an error that you are not in your home area, you may be able to resolve this issue online at psvue.com/subscription, or by contacting Customer Support at psvue.com/chat or https://support.us.playstation.com.

Please note that PlayStation™Vue will not work across multiple IP addresses in the home, or your access to PlayStation™Vue will be interrupted.
