80022F12 PS3 PSP Error Code

The PS3 or PSP system was unable to activate or to download, copy or move video content.

 
 

Solution:

  • For PS3 users:
    • Delete the current PS3 system user profile by going to Users and highlighting the user you want to delete. Press the Triangle button and select [Delete] to delete the user.
    • Create a new user by going to Users > [Create New User].
    • Sign in as the new user and attempt to activate the PS3 system. Click here to learn how to activate and deactivate the PS3 system.
    • If the problem persists, reformat the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Please note this will erase all data from the HDD. Click here to learn how to back up your data.
    • To reformat the HDD, go to Settings > [System Settings] > [Restore PS3 System].
  • For PSP users:
    • Check you have the latest version of the system software by going to Settings > [System Settings] > [System Information] on the XMB™ Menu.
    • Attempt to activate the PSP system via the PS3 system. Click here to learn how to activate and deactivate the PSP system.
    • If you can activate the PSP system via the PS3 system, format the Memory Stick by going to Settings > [System Settings] > [Format Memory Stick™].
    • If you cannot activate the PSP system via the PS3 system, follow the steps outlined above for PS3 users.
