NP-31731-5 PS4 Error Code

User is signed-out of PlayStation Network or data on the HDD could be corrupted.

 
 
  • Make sure you are signed in to PSN by selecting [Settings] > [PlayStation™Network/Account Management] > [Sign In].
  • If the error persists, restart the PS4 system.

If this does not resolve the error, try the following steps:

  • Start the system in Safe Mode, and select [Restore Default Settings]
  • Delete the user and then re-create it.
  • If the error persists after trying all previous steps, try to Initialise the system by going to [Settings] > [Initialisation] > [Quick].
