How to top up your PSN wallet with a credit or debit card

This article explains the cards you can use for wallet top up, how to use them and when they may be automatically charged.

What credit and debit cards can I use?

The following card types can be used on PlayStation Store:

PlayStation Network (SEN) account holders over the age of 18* can use a credit or debit card to top up their PSN wallet. The added funds can then be used to make purchases from PlayStation Store.

Your card details are stored after your first purchase, so you won't need to enter the information again. You can store up to three cards on your account.

*Child family members and sub accounts do not have a PSN wallet, and cannot have payment methods associated with their accounts.

Please note that funds added to your wallet cannot be refunded to your credit or debit card, in line with the PlayStation Store Cancellation Policy.

You can switch off automatic funding or cancel a subscription at any time.

How will wallet top ups appear on my card statement?

SEN wallet top ups will be displayed on your statement as payments to any of the following:

  • PSN
  • Sony Online Services
  • Sony Ent Network

If you are unsure of the reason for a payment like this appearing on your statement you can find out more by checking our Unauthorised payments article.
