Redeem a PlayStation™Store voucher code

Learn how to redeem content, subscription and wallet top-up voucher codes through PlayStation Store.

PlayStation Store voucher types 

PlayStation Store voucher codes contain twelve digits. If you have a ten-digit discount code, please see How to redeem a Discount Code.

PlayStation Store Voucher Restrictions

  • The voucher code must be for the same region as your account. If you have a physical card, look for a printed flag indicating its country. 

  • In order to redeem some subscription vouchers you may need a valid payment method on the account. 

  • PlayStation®Plus trial vouchers can only be redeemed on accounts which have not previously subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

  • It is not possible to transfer funds or content between accounts, so make sure to redeem your code on the correct account.

Redeem a PlayStation Store voucher

  1. Go to PlayStation Store and click on your Avatar at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Redeem Codes from the drop-down menu.
  3. Carefully enter the code and select Redeem.
  4. The credit or content is now applied to your account.

  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts.

  2. Select Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Redeem Codes.

  3. Enter the code and select Redeem.

You can also redeem a voucher code during checkout by selecting Redeem Codes and Gift Cards from the payment method menu.

  1. Go to PlayStation Store > scroll to the bottom of the sidebar > Redeem Codes.

  2. Carefully enter the code and select Redeem.

  3. The credit or content is now applied to your account.

Using a voucher code if you're under 18

  • PlayStation®Plus Subscription benefits such as Monthly Games and online multiplayer will be limited by age ratings and the parental controls set on your account. For this reason, we recommend that PlayStation Plus vouchers are redeemed on the associated family manager’s account.

  • Wallet top-up voucher codes will need to be redeemed on the family manager’s account. Once they have set up a Monthly Spending Limit on PS5 for your account you will be able to spend the funds from their wallet.  

  • Subscription voucher codes for 3 and 12-month memberships can be redeemed on your account. Learn more about how to manage your subscription.

Problems redeeming a PlayStation Store voucher

You can only use a voucher code once. To check the transaction history of your account, sign in to account management online. If already used, the voucher code will appear in the transaction details section.

Redeem a discount code on PlayStation Store

A discount code can be applied to your PlayStation Store shopping cart.

  1. On your device, go to the PlayStation Store and add items to your Cart.

  2. Select Enter Discount Code.

  3. Enter the 10-digit discount code.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Please note, a discount code cannot be applied to subscription services (like PS Plus), video content, or pre-orders. A discount code cannot be combined with other discount codes or have multiple uses for one account.
