How to change audio settings for your PULSE Explore wireless earbuds
Adjust equalizer, sidetone volume, 3D audio, and more to make your wireless earbuds sound just the way you want. You can change audio settings for your earbuds through only your PlayStation®5 console.
Equalizer and sidetone volume settings are stored on your earbuds once you configure them through your PS5® console. If you connect earbuds to other devices, they’ll keep the same settings.
How to adjust PlayStation Link volume on your PULSE Explore wireless earbuds
Both of your earbuds have a volume button on the top part of the earbud. Use either one to raise or lower the PlayStation Link™ volume.
Use the tactile dot on the “+” side of the volume button to help you adjust the volume without taking off your earbud.
You can also adjust the volume from your PS5 console through the Sound controls in the control center.
The volume button controls only the PS Link audio from your console or PC/Mac. When your earbuds are connected to a Bluetooth device, you need to control the volume from your mobile device. When you listen to two audio sources at the same time from both PS Link and Bluetooth devices, the volume button controls only the PS Link audio.
How to use the mic on your PULSE Explore wireless earbuds
Both of your earbuds have a mic on the top part of the earbud, which you can use to do things like voice chat.
To quickly mute the mics on your earbuds, press the mute button on your DualSense™ or DualSense Edge™ wireless controller.
You can adjust the mic settings through the Sound controls in the control center.
