How to fix CE-108255-1

Something went wrong with a game or app.

  1. Make sure your system software and the game/app are updated.
  2. If the error occurs after starting the game/app, delete the game/app from Settings > Storage, and reinstall it.
  3. Start your PS5 console in Safe Mode and select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database > Rebuild Database.
  4. If the error occurs again, reset your PS5® console. If possible, back up your data, and then select Settings > System > System Software > Reset Options > Reset Your Console. After resetting your console, try installing the game/app again.
    Note that when you reset your console, all data saved on your console storage is erased.
