You may have activated a primary PS4 console too many times in a short period.

If this error occurred after selecting Activate as Your Primary PS4 multiple times, please try again after a while.

If you selected Activate as Your Primary PS4 once and have received this error, please try the following:

  1. Restart your PlayStation®4 console.
  2. If your system software is not up to date, please update it to the latest version from Settings > System Software Update.
  3. Turn off your router, wait at least 5 minutes, then restart it.
  4. This may be a temporary issue. Please try again after a while.
