What is Destiny 2: The Final Shape?

Confront oblivion and face the Witness

The Final Shape looms – a nightmarish calcification of reality into the Witness's twisted design. Embark on a perilous journey into the heart of the Traveler, rally the Vanguard, and end the War of Light and Darkness.

The Final Shape includes the new story campaign, three new Supers, a new destination and new weapons and armor to collect.

Also included is the first of three Episodes in the year of The Final Shape. Episodes will be replacing Seasons as the new storytelling and content update format for Destiny 2.

New destination: The Pale Heart

There is a place where we will find eternity being torn asunder. An unraveling landscape that echoes with the deeds of our past.

Adventure through an impossible landscape that bends time and space. Follow the Witness and behold what lies within the Traveler.

New activities

Conquer new challenges on the Guardian’s perilous journey, including a new raid where Guardians will finally confront the Witness.

And with The Final Shape Dungeon Key, new pinnacle challenges await Annual Pass owners. Unlock two dungeons releasing during the year of The Final Shape.

Episodes

Starting in 2024, Destiny 2 will release three Episodes. Each Episode will contain new story content and rewards, including a new Exotic mission, Exotic weapon and armor.

Episodes will each contain three Acts, with a new Act releasing every six weeks – containing new stories, quests, activities, weapons, artifact mods, pass ranks and rewards.

Defeating the Witness will require untold power. Arc Hunters, Void Titans, and Solar Warlocks; master a new Super within your arsenal and confront oblivion.

Twilight Arsenal – Titan

Blades honed by the Void cut through the air. Lift them from the feet of your felled foes and continue the attack.

Storm's Edge – Hunter

Dagger in hand, become the Arc flashing in the darkness; the edge of the storm your enemies cannot outrun.

Song of Flame – Warlock

Unleash your inner phoenix with every attack. Buff your weapons, allies, and harness the living Solar flame.
