    Apex Legends latest season FAQs

    Information is the deadliest weapon in Season 31 of Apex Legends. Due to a new firmware upgrade from surveillance expert Crypto, players can now gather essential intel for their squads.

    A new Akimbo Wingman dual-wielded revolver is available and Strongholds can be raided for major loot. Season 31 also features a rebooted Revenant and Lifeline, Ranked Legend bans and a new Crypto Mythic skin.

    Cipher Premium Battle Pass Split 1 contains:

    • Legendary skins for Ash and Axle
    • A new Legendary Weapon Skin for the Triple Take
    • 10 Exotic Shards
    • The Reactive Wingman skin at Tier 60

    The Ultimate Battle Pass includes the following Instant Rewards:

    • 1,200 Crafting Metals 
    • Eight Apex Packs1

    The Arena shifts every match with new Legend Bans in Diamond lobbies and above. Every player casts one vote to ban a Legend. The more votes a Legend gets, the greater the chance they’ll be banned for that match.

    New weapons:

    • The Akimbo Wingman is a dual-wielded setup for the Wingman revolver. 

    New items:

    • Strongholds are the evolution of Care Packages that contain high-risk loot, including high-tier weapons, Corrupted Attachments and EVO.

    New gameplay systems:

    • Crypto’s role has switched from passive to aggressive intel gathering. His Surveillance Drone now runs on batteries instead of a cooldown. He has an easily deployable EMP Ultimate and the new Sentry Mode tags enemies in sight. 
    • Assault Legend Revenant plays more aggressively with a shorter Ultimate cooldown, a quicker Tactical and new Upgrades. 
    • Support Legend Lifeline has a reduced cooldown on D.O.C. and selfheal while gliding. There are new Upgrades that add a shield while a teammate is revived and also improve flight mobility. 

    Apex Legends Season 31 starts on November 3.
