Je kunt op elk moment een nieuw abonnement kopen dat begint zodra je huidige abonnement afloopt.

Als je je huidige abonnement wilt omzetten in een lager niveau log je in op de instellingenpagina van je account voor PlayStation Network en ga je naar de tab Abonnementen om je PlayStation Plus-abonnement te beheren. Met ingang van de volgende betalingsdatum gaat je abonnement verder op het lagere niveau.

Je kunt meteen upgraden naar een hoger niveau door het abonnement van je keuze te kopen. Voor de resterende duur van je abonnementsperiode betaal je een hoger bedrag dat hoort bij het niveau van je nieuwe abonnement.

Zolang je een lopend abonnement hebt, kun je de maandelijkse games toevoegen aan je gamebibliotheek en ze downloaden en spelen. De gamecatalogus en catalogus met klassiekers zijn beschikbaar voor abonnees van de betreffende abonnementen, maar sommige games kunnen op een later moment worden verwijderd van de PlayStation Plus-service.

Je kunt de meeste games in de verschillende PlayStation Plus-gamebibliotheken downloaden naar je PS4- of PS5-console.*. De catalogus met klassiekers omvat ook een groot aanbod van klassieke PlayStation 3-titels die alleen beschikbaar zijn via streaming.  PlayStation Plus Premium-abonnees kunnen ervoor kiezen om de games uit de gamecatalogus en de catalogus met klassiekers te streamen naar hun PS4, PS5 of pc.

*PS5-games kunnen alleen worden gedownload naar een PlayStation 5-console. PS4-games kunnen zowel naar een PS4- als PS5-console worden gedownload.

Ja, alle PlayStation Plus-abonnementen geven toegang tot de online speltypen waarvoor een abonnement nodig is. Dit geldt voor games op alle PlayStation-consoles.

Cloudstreaming is een PlayStation Plus Premium-voordeel dat beschikbaar is voor PS4, PS5 en pc. Selecteer de streamingoptie van een game, dan kun je na een korte wachttijd spelen. Dit zijn de vereisten om te streamen naar pc. 

Snelle internetverbinding (minimaal 5 Mbps). De beschikbare content is afhankelijk van de leeftijd van de abonnee (je moet 18 of ouder zijn om te streamen via de pc-app). Mogelijk kunnen niet alle games worden gestreamd.

Het cloudstreamingvoordeel dat is inbegrepen bij PlayStation Plus Premium maakt het mogelijk om een selectie van originele PlayStation-, PSP-, PS2-, PS3- en PS4-games te streamen uit de catalogus met klassiekers en de gamecatalogus. Bepaalde games uit dit aanbod, zoals PS5-games, kunnen niet worden gespeeld via cloudstreaming en moeten worden gedownload.

Ja, je kunt DLC en add-ons kopen voor de games die je hebt gedownload uit de gamecatalogus van PlayStation Plus. Als je abonnement verloopt of een game de service verlaat, verlies je toegang tot de DLC en add-on van die game. Door je opnieuw te abonneren voor de service of de game te kopen, kun je de gekochte DLC en add-on weer gebruiken. Hou er rekening mee dat de content van DLC en add-ons niet wordt ondersteund bij het streamen van een game.

1Klassiekers en proefversies van games zijn alleen toegankelijk voor Premium-/Deluxe-abonnees. De inhoud van de gamebibliotheek wisselt van tijd tot tijd en is afhankelijk van de abonnementsvorm. De beschikbaarheid van klassiekers, proefversies van games en de gamecatalogus wisselt van tijd tot tijd en is afhankelijk van de abonnementsvorm.  

PS Plus is een doorlopend abonnement met terugkerende abonnementskosten die automatisch (tegen de dan geldende PS Store-prijs) in rekening worden gebracht met de frequentie die je bij aankoop hebt gekozen, totdat je het abonnement opzegt. PS Plus-content en -services variëren op basis van de leeftijd van de abonnee. PS Plus is alleen beschikbaar voor inwoners van de regio waarin de service wordt aangeboden die voldoen aan de leeftijdseisen in het land waarin ze woonachtig zijn. Als je niet voldoet aan de wettelijke minimumleeftijd, heb je ouderlijke toestemming nodig. Onlinefuncties van specifieke games kunnen na kennisgeving binnen een redelijke termijn worden geannuleerd.  Bepaalde beperkingen zijn mogelijk van toepassing op gamedownloads.
