    Bad robot

Portal 2 on PlayStation 3 takes place years after the events of its predecessor, Portal. At the end of the first game's single player campaign, the character you play as, Chell, is taken away by a robot and placed in stasis inside the walls of the Aperture Science facility for many years. Upon waking, she discovers that the entire place has descended into ruin.

Thankfully, she has a little help from the bumbling personality robot, Wheatley, and quickly escapes the confines of the room. Unfortunately, once she is out, she inadvertently resurrects a menacing artificially intelligent computer system called GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System).

With GLaDOS in control of the entire facility once more, Chell is forced to embark on another series of mind-bending tests using her wits, Wheatley and the power of the portal gun she discovered in the first game.

This is where you come in. Good luck, because with GLaDOS after you, you're going to need it.

    Two heads better than one

Portal 2 on PlayStation 3 features an entirely separate co-operative multiplayer mode that can be played either offline with a friend, provided you have another wireless controller, or online with another player via PlayStation Network.

In it, you both play as two new robot characters called Atlas and P-body in a completely new storyline that takes place after the events of the single player campaign. There are plenty of new puzzles for you to test your skills on, and because there are two of you solving each of them, they are much harder than before.

Portal 2 is also the first ever game to support Steam on consoles. The PS3 exclusive feature allows you to play with another player on another platform, chat to them and save your co-operative multiplayer game on the Steam Cloud. By saving on the Steam Cloud you can then play the save file on any PlayStation 3 system. For a complete list of the exciting Steam features check out blog.eu.playstation.com.
