Temeljena na sustavu All Star Battle objavljenom 2014., igra JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R osvježava doživljaj igranja prilagodbama u tempu borbe te dodavanjem blokada udaraca i sprint-skokova. 

S novim zvučnim snimkama glumaca iz šestog dijela animirane serije postiže se potpuni ugođaj međunarodno popularnog animiranog serijala. U doživljaju će jednako uživati fanovi izvorne verzije igre All Star Battle i novaci.
