What is Grounded?

Shrink down and survive in a perilous, creature-filled backyard.

Mysteriously shrunken down to the size of an ant, your intrepid young adventurer must fight for survival as they experience the backyard from an entirely new perspective.

Explore a vast garden environment alone, or with the aid of up to three friends in online multiplayer, and gather the resources you need to build shelter and craft armour and weapons to protect yourself from the creatures that populate the backyard.

As you progress, you’ll uncover the truth behind your tiny transformation and find out what it takes to return to your original size.

Grounded key features

No small mystery

As you play through the adventure, you'll discover more of the story and uncover the answers to your unusual situation. Find out who's responsible for shrinking you and figure out a solution for getting you and your friends back home.

Find strength in numbers

Up to four pint-sized explorers can attempt to survive together in online multiplayer. With the Shared Worlds feature you can continue your adventures and save your progress in the same shared backyard, even without the original host.

Creature discomfort

As you explore the backyard, expect to encounter creatures at every turn, from the dunes of the sandbox to the depths of the garden pond. Nowhere is safe, including your own base, so make sure you're always prepared for a full-scale bug offensive.

Backyard bonuses

An extensive customisation system lets you gift your tiny teen with vital bonuses and perks. Unlock game-changing Mutations, craft upgradeable weapons and armour, and use Milk Molars to boost your stats and improve your chances of survival.
