What is Sea of Thieves?

The acclaimed pirate adventure sails to PlayStation, offering the quintessential pirate experience both solo and with friends.

Try your hand at fishing, make maps to your own buried treasure or choose from hundreds of other optional goals and side-quests!

Sail solo or crew up for adventure

Set sail alone or with just your friends and explore the waves at your leisure on Safer Seas mode - or opt to journey on the shared world of High Seas mode for richer rewards and the chance of encounters with other pirate crews, each on journeys of their own. Will they be friend or foe, and how will you respond?

Choose your challenges

Voyages of all kinds can be chosen from your ship’s Quest Table before diving straight into the heart of the action in search of gold and glory. Or simply pick a spot on the horizon, weigh anchor and let the winds carry you into adventure. Guide your unique pirate on a path to Pirate Legend and beyond by building your reputation and notoriety on the seas.

Change style with the season

Rewards include thousands of ways to transform and accessorise your pirate and their ship. Don new clothes, add tattoos and scars, and expand your array of weapons, pets and sea shanties. Deck your ship out in new sails, figureheads and furnishings. Each season brings new game features and rewards so you'll always have a fresh look for plundering.
