How to customize audio settings on PULSE Explore wireless earbuds

Find out how to adjust the volume settings of your PULSE Explore™ wireless earbuds using the volume button or through settings on your PlayStation®5 console.

How to adjust PlayStation Link volume on your PULSE Explore wireless earbuds 

Both of your earbuds have a volume button on the top part of the earbud. Use either one to raise or lower the PlayStation Link™ volume.

Use the tactile dot on the “+” side of the volume button to help you adjust the volume without taking off your earbud.

You can also adjust the volume from your PS5® console through the Sound controls in the control centre. 

Access Sound controls
  • The volume button controls only the PS Link audio from your console or PC. When your earbuds are connected to a Bluetooth device, you need to control the volume from your mobile device. When you listen to two audio sources at the same time from both PS Link and Bluetooth devices, the volume button controls only the PS Link audio.

Both of your earbuds have a mic on the top part of the earbud, which you can use to do things like voice chat.

To access the shortcut to Sound controls in the control centre, quickly press the PlayStation Link button three times on either of your earbuds.
