How to connect external devices to your Access controller

Which accessories are compatible with Access controllers?

Third-party buttons, switches, and other devices that are compatible with a 3.5mm port can be plugged into your controller’s expansion ports to add more mapping options. From the left, the ports are located in this order: E1, E2, E3, and E4.

A) Expansion ports 

• When inserting a compatible accessory into an expansion port on your controller, make sure you fully insert the jack into the port.
• The USB port is used to connect the controller to your PS5® console to charge and update the device software. It does not support USB-based third-party accessories.
• For information about commercially available device compatibility and use, check the instructions included with your device. Not all devices work with your controller.
