PS4 cannot recognise the USB storage.

  1. Connect the storage device.
  2. If the storage device is connected but you see this error, disconnect it and reconnect it.
  3. Select Sound/Devices > Stop Using Extended Storage on the quick menu and then reconnect it. Make sure you reconnect it securely.
  4. Make sure the storage device is FAT or exFAT formatted.
