To celebrate over 30 years of incredible PlayStation memories,
we're giving you a chance to be scanned into a PlayStation Studios
game - starting with Gran Turismo® 7.
WHAT IS THE PLAYERBASE?
The Playerbase is your chance to appear in a PlayStation Studios game. We’re looking for our biggest fans– tell us what PlayStation means to you and what makes you stand out from the crowd.
The first game we’re recruiting for is Gran Turismo® 7 from Polyphony Digital, with more to be announced.
How it works
Get selected, get scanned
A selected player will be invited to be scanned at one of our visual arts studios (and no, we won't make you look like Kratos or Aloy – we want you just the way you are).
Be featured in a game
Your likeness will appear in a game played by millions. And you’ll never again struggle when asked for an interesting fact about yourself.
Participating games
If selected to be part of The Playerbase, you will be included in a PlayStation Studios game.

What to expect if you win
If you’re selected to be part of The Playerbase, the first opportunity is in Gran Turismo® 7. The selected winner will appear in GT7 for a limited time, and will help design a custom Fantasy Logo and a one-of-a-kind vehicle livery that will be added permanently to the Showcase menu.
You’ll be invited to a visual arts studio to be scanned using state-of-the-art 3D capture technology and work with a designer to create your custom Fantasy Logo and vehicle livery. PlayStation will cover the costs of travel for you and a plus one, as well as accommodation close to the studio1.

Frequently asked questions
What you need to know about entering The Playerbase, and what to expect if you’re selected.
Anyone can enter who is at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your region) with a PlayStation online ID in a participating country/territory. Just complete the required fields in the form. Check out the Official Rules for more information.
The first opportunity is in Gran Turismo® 7, where the selected winner will appear in-game for a limited time, and will also help design a custom Fantasy Logo and a one-of-a-kind vehicle livery that will be added permanently to the Showcase menu. More games to be announced.
There will be multiple rounds. In the first round, judging will be based on a combination of skill-based criteria found in your written submission and account history, including: (i) the originality of your written submission, (ii) your written submission's relevance to the theme of passionate PlayStation Studios fandom, (iii) your written submission's demonstration of your personal connection to PlayStation Studios fandom, (iv) your demonstrated engagement with the PlayStation brand, as evidenced by ownership of PlayStation products, subscriptions, games played, hours played, etc., and (v) your demonstrated engagement with Polyphony Digital, as evidenced by ownership of games from those studios, hours played, number and type of game trophies obtained, etc.
In the second round, criteria will be judged on a combination of skill-based criteria found in an interview, including (a) how much your interview expresses an authentic love for PlayStation and details your personal history with the brand, (b) how much your interview expresses an authentic love for GT7, (c) how much your interview includes shareable and entertaining content, while demonstrating that your story is suitably interesting to make further compelling content, (d) how much your interview confirms you represent the PlayStation community, and (e) how much your interview meets the conduct expected of someone representing PlayStation and affiliated games.

Yes. Sony Interactive Entertainment and/or its authorised representatives, including PromoVeritas LTD, will organise and cover the cost of travel and lodging for the prize. The winner will be solely responsible for ensuring that the winner and guest have all necessary travel documentation to enter and travel within the United States (including ESTA, VISA, passports, etc.).
You will be contacted by Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC and/or its authorised representatives, including Six Minutes, to notify you on your selection and next steps.
The winner will appear in game for a special limited-time update in Gran Turismo 7® later this year. Their custom Fantasy Logo and one-of-a-kind vehicle livery will be added permanently to the Showcase menu.
