PlayStation 5

Launched in 2020, PlayStation 5 introduced new innovations that have taken play to extraordinary new heights, including an ultra-fast SSD, Tempest 3D Audio technology, and a generation of games that harness the console's lightning speed and graphical capabilities to create incredible new experiences.

DualSense wireless controller

Every PS5 console comes complete with a DualSense wireless controller, which enhances play with an incredible sense of immersion thanks to innovative haptic feedback and trigger effects in compatible games.

PlayStation VR2

PlayStation Plus

Horizon

Developed by Guerrilla, the Horizon series presents a far-future version of Earth where tribal cultures exist in the shadow of the colossal, ferocious machines that rule over a world reclaimed by nature. Horizon Zero Dawn launched on PS4 in 2017, followed by Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 and PS5, and Horizon Call of the Mountain on PS VR2.

God of War

Santa Monica Studios' demigod protagonist Kratos first appeared on PlayStation 2 in 2005, wreaking a trail of vengeance through six games before resurfacing as a protective father to son Atreus in 2018's God of War on PS4. God of War Ragnarök, released on PS5 in 2022, is the 8th entry in Kratos' saga and became the fastest-selling PlayStation title of all time.

The Last of Us

Naughty Dog's The Last of Us debuted on PlayStation 3 with emotional storytelling, relatable characters, and intense action gameplay in a world ravaged by a deadly infection. The Last of Us Part II arrived on PS4 in 2020, while Part I was rebuilt for PS5 in 2022 and PC in 2023. Season one of a TV adaptation premiered in 2023, and season two is currently in development.

Gran Turismo

Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo series debuted on the original PlayStation console in 1997 and continues to push the boundaries of what a driving simulator can be. The series touches every aspect of automotive culture, from incredibly detailed tracks and faithfully recreated high-performance cars to real-life racing in the Gran Turismo Academy, which has created more than a dozen professional drivers.

Naughty Dog's Uncharted series has led the way in cinematic action-adventure storytelling in video games, since its inception with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on PS3. The series spans four games on PS3 and PS4, a spin-off title in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy on PS4, plus a collection of remastered titles for PS5.
