How to use Game Help on PS5 consoles

How to view Game Help on PS5 consoles

  1. While in your game, go to the control center.
    The card of your current game activity appears on the left. When Game Help is available, Game Help appears on the card.
  2. Select the card marked with Game Help.
    A list of objectives appears. Game Help is available for objectives marked with Game Help.
  3. Select the objective you want help with.
    Game Help details appear on the card.
  4. If the card contains a video, select Play.
    Press the PS button to return to your game.

What is Game Help?

Having trouble progressing through a game on your PS5™ console and need a little help? Depending on where you are or what you are doing in the game, there may be hints, tips, or walkthrough videos from developers available to help you. 

  • Game Help Notifications will appear when you begin playing a game that supports Game Help. 

Tips for using Game Help on PS5 consoles

  • Depending on the game, there may be subtasks available. When you select an objective in step 3, a subtask appears. 
  • If you want to play your game while referring to the guide, try using Pin to Side. Select Multitasking from the screen in step 4. 
  • Press the options button to access closed captions, audio settings, and multitasking options for certain kinds of Game Help.
  • If Game Help appears on the trophies detail screen, you can get hints for earning trophies.
