How to hide games on PlayStation consoles

Find out how to hide games from your Game Library or from other players on PlayStation®5 consoles and PlayStation®4 consoles.

How to hide games from your PS5 console Game Library 

Games that you hide will be hidden from your Library on all consoles. This setting doesn’t affect your profile. You can hide or unhide your games in the following ways.

  1. From your Game Library, open the Your Collection tab and then highlight the game that you want to hide. 
  2. Press the options button, and then select Hide.
  1. From your Game Library, select Filter and Sort.
  2. Turn on Hidden Items to temporarily show your hidden games.

How to hide games from your PS4 console Library 

  1. Go to your Library > Purchased and highlight a game.
  2. Press the OPTIONS button and select Do Not Show Content Item in [Purchased].
  1. Go to Library > Purchased. 
  2. Press the OPTIONS button and then select Check Hidden Content Items.

How to hide games from other players on a PS5 console

When you add a game to the hidden games list on a PS5 console, your activity in that game isn’t displayed to other players.

  1. Go to the home screen and select Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy.

  2. Select View and Customize Your Privacy Settings > Hide your games from other players, and then select the games you want to hide.

How to hide games from other players on a PS4 console

When you hide a game on a PS4 console, information about the game doesn't appear in your activities, profile or trophy list. However, other players on PS4 consoles can still see what games you're playing in Now Playing. To prevent others from seeing what you're playing, select Set Online Status Appear Offline on your profile screen.

  1. Go to Settings Account Management Privacy Settings, and select Hidden games.
  2. Select the games you want to hide.
