If this error occurs, the system software update has failed. Please try the following:

1. Select Settings > System Software Update and try the update again.
2. If the situation does not improve, start your PlayStation®4 console in safe mode and select Update System Software.
3. If you are trying to update via the Internet, turn off your router, and wait at least five minutes. Then turn it on and try the update again.
