How to reset your PULSE Elite wireless headset

If you’re having issues with your PULSE Elite wireless headset, try resetting it. Resetting won’t affect any PlayStation Link™ or Bluetooth pairings, or audio settings.

  1. Press and hold the PlayStation Link™ button on your headset for at least 10 seconds.
While you’re holding the button, your headset turns off.
  2. Press the PS Link button on your headset to turn it back on.
  3. Check if the issue with your headset has been fixed.

If you still have issues after attempting to reset, you may need to wipe all paired connections from your headset. This deletes all PS Link and Bluetooth pairings and audio settings.

  1. Press and hold the PS Link button on your headset and release it when the status indicator on your headset quickly blinks blue (approximately 8 seconds).
  2. Press and hold the PS Link button again, and release it when the indicator quickly blinks blue (approximately 8 seconds).
If the wipe is successful, the indicator briefly blinks red.

How to troubleshoot popping sounds on PULSE Elite

If your PULSE Elite wireless headset has been exposed to high humidity, moisture can develop on the drivers and cause occasional popping sounds even when PULSE Elite is powered Off.

  1. Take off your headset and turn it off.
  2. Place your headset in a well-ventilated area for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Turn on your headset and try your audio again.
  • Avoid exposing the drivers to an environment with high moisture, such as wearing the headset with wet hair or skin.
  • When not in use, store your headset in a dry place.
  • Please do not attempt to dry the drivers with a hair dryer, fan, or any other method other than the instructions described above, as it may damage your headset. Allow the drivers to passively air dry.
