How to fix CE-41902-6

The connected USB storage device isn't compatible with your PlayStation®4 console.

  1. Ensure that your USB storage device fulfills the following requirements.
  • 250GB minimum, 8TB maximum capacity.
  • Formatted as FAT or exFAT
  • USB 3.0 or later
  1. If your USB storage device fulfills these requirements, please try connecting it to another USB port on your PS4™ console.
  2. Try using a different USB cable if you have one.
  3. Connect the USB storage quickly and firmly.
    Connecting too slowly might prevent your USB storage from being recognized.
