There might have been an issue connecting to your network or PlayStation®, or the Internet Service Provider's (ISP) server might be temporarily busy.
- Check the connection status of your PlayStation®4 console in Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection.
- Try the following:
- If you're using a wireless connection, place your PS4™ console and router closer together, with no obstructions between them.
- Use a wired connection, if possible.
- Turn off your router and/or modem, wait 5 minutes, then restart them.
- Other devices on your network might be using a large amount of bandwidth. Wait until they are finished.
- Update your router's firmware.
Contact your router manufacturer or ISP for assistance if required.
- The following port numbers are used to connect to PlayStation servers over the internet. Make sure that your router isn't blocking them. For further help with this, please contact your ISP.
- TCP: 80, 443, 3478, 3479, 3480
- UDP: 3478, 3479
- If you've been using a specific DNS server, go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection > Custom and change the DNS settings.
If you're still experiencing the issue, please try again later.
