How to fix CE-41839-5

An error occurred with the game/application.

  1. Make sure your PlayStation®4 console system software is updated to the latest version.
  1. Turn off your PS4® console completely, unplug the power cable, plug it back in, and then restart it.
  2. Try restoring licences.
  1. Delete the game/application and re-download it using a wired connection, if possible.
  1. Start your PS4 console in Safe Mode and select Rebuild Database.

If this issue keeps happening, try initialising your PS4 console.
Please note, initialising your console erases all data on the console storage.

  1. Back up the data on your PS4 console.

  1. After completing the backup, start your PS4 console in Safe Mode and select Initialise PS4 (Reinstall System Software).

  2. After initialising your console, try installing the game again.
