Find out how to hide games from your Games Library or from other players on PS5™ consoles and PS4™ consoles.

PS5 console: hide games from Games Library

Games you hide will be hidden from your Library on all consoles. This setting doesn’t affect your profile.

  1. To hide a game from your Games Library on a PS5 console, highlight the game, press the options button, and then select Hide.
This option is not available on the Installed tab.
  2. To access hidden games, go to the Your Collection tab of your Games Library, select the Sort and Filter menu, and then turn on Hidden Items. Select the game and press the options button to Unhide. The game will now appear in your default Games Library view.
  1. Go to your Library > Purchased and select a game, press the OPTIONS button and select Do Not Show Content Item in [Purchased].
  2. To access hidden games, go to Library > Purchased, press the OPTIONS button and then select Check Hidden Content Items.

PS5 console: hide games from other players

When you add a game to the hidden games list on a PS5 console, your activity in that game isn’t displayed to other players.

  1. Go to the home screen and select Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy.

  2. Select View and Customize Your Privacy Settings > Hide your games from other players, and then select the games you want to hide.

When a PS4 game is hidden, information about the game doesn’t appear in your activities, profile, or trophy list. However, other players on PS4 consoles can still see what games you're playing in Now Playing. To prevent others from seeing what you're playing, select Set Online Status > Appear Offline on your profile screen.

  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings, and select Hidden games.
  2. Select the games you want to hide.
