What's new in Apex Legends: Prodigy?

New Legend: Sparrow

Own the spotlight with Sparrow, an agile archer here to show off his skills. His Passive ability “Double Jump” makes scaling obstacles a breeze, while his Tactical ability “Tracker Dart” highlights enemies that pass through the zone. He always gets his target, and with his Ultimate ability “Stinger Bolt”, he can wreak havoc on multiple targets at once with six consecutive energy blasts.

Bocek updates

These explosive updates to the Bocek Compound Bow will let you put in less work and do more damage. First, the Bocek is returning to ground loot, but there won’t be any ammo in the loot pool. You can even load up the Bocek with Frag Grenades and energise it to create Explosive Arrows. Every shot has explosive potential, even when you miss.

Arenas return

It's time for a new set of prodigies to carve out their legacy on these hallowed grounds. Prove your greatness in a series of fast-paced, action-packed 3v3 battles where you win a round by eliminating the enemy team. This classic form is back first, but there are twists coming later this season that’ll keep the adrenaline flowing.

Ranked updates

A new Ranked Ladder to climb won’t pause regular ranked progress. Instead, your regular ranked matches will help you advance through the Leaderboard and compete for more rewards, including a new Ranked Dive Trail.

Pathfinder buffs

Swing into battle confidently with Zipline Zen, which is back with an increased damage reduction of 50%. The variable cooldown of 15-30 seconds is back for Pathfinder’s Tactical, the Grapple Hook. There are also two new upgrades that make Pathfinder even more of a threat: a Double Ultimate Charge plus a Double Tactical Charge you can trade for the Variable Grapple cooldown.

Secure a Power Sword with specific abilities in Power Sword Royale, have fun with Mozambiques for April Fools, and conquer creator challenges. Plus, try new Skirmisher perks and Alter updates.

February 11 – March 4

6th Anniversary Collection Event

Join the party and unleash destruction as you pull from 36 Anniversary Event items, with every item being Legendary or above, including a set of Heirloom Shards and the first-of-its-kind Mythic R-301. The Mythic R-301 is absolutely loaded with enhanced animations, textures and graphic effects.

Use Exotic Shards to evolve it through four bold cosmetic upgrades. Check it out in Pubs during the Mythic Mayhem Royale, where Rampart-themed supply drops will feature all R-301 variants, fully kitted and ready to devastate with 3 distinct Hop-Ups – Red for aggression, Yellow for speed and Green for support – each delivering unique buffs and help take your squad to the Champions Podium.

The Community Reward Tracker returns, where you can complete challenges to unlock community-made rewards.
