Not only this, you're also able to summon support via Benevolent Graves (which summon an NPC companion to aid you in combat) or online co-op, in which you can summon other players into your world through online play to help even the odds.

While prior titles in the Nioh series focus on more traditional level design, Nioh 3 takes an 'open field' approach, providing much larger zones for the player to explore with far greater freedom for discovery and tactical play.

Nioh 3 isn't the continuation of any story from earlier in series. Rather, it draws from the same mix of Japanese culture, history and mythology to weave a tale of political intrigue, armed conflict and dark supernatural forces - the sort for which the series is well-loved.
