What's new in Apex Legends: Upheaval?

New Legend: Alter

Break the rules with Alter. Her Passive ability 'Gift from the Rift' loots an item from nearby deathboxes - great for swapping weapons or pulling a surprise Shield Battery.

Enemy blocking an entrance? Alter’s tactical 'Void Passage' creates a portal through a surface, opening a path to chaos. Her Ultimate 'Void Nexus' places a device that her team can use to open a one-way portal back to that location.

Solos takeover

It’s back! Dive into Solos Takeover, replacing Duos for the beginning of the season. Use your Battle Sense to detect nearby enemies, while you tear up the Outlands with pre-kitted weapons and attachments.

Keep the fight going with auto heal and new Second Chance mechanics. It’s every Legend for themselves, and all eyes are on you.

Broken Moon Shatters

A lunar nightmare becomes reality as Olympus crashes into Cleo’s stasis node, reshaping the battlefield with new POIs and a streamlined map, with new rotations and revamped ziprails ripe for spreading havoc.

Say goodbye to Promenade and brawl in the all-new Quarantine zone, built for close-quarters action. A crumbling world brings us together.
