How to find PlayStation VR serial and model numbers

Find out where you can find the serial and model numbers on your PlayStation®VR and when you might need to use them.

It is recommended that you have these numbers to hand when contacting PlayStation Support. 

How to find the PS VR serial number

The PS VR serial number can be found on the back of the PS VR processor unit.

  • The serial number has 14 alphanumeric characters.

How to the find PS VR model number

The PS VR model number can be found on its original packaging, or you can check for the following:

CUH-ZVR1

  • Sliding cover on Processor Unit.
  • Serial number on rear of Processor Unit starting with P01/P02.
  • Power button on in-line remote. 


CUH-ZVR2 

  • Solid Processor Unit. 
  • Serial number on rear of Processor Unit starting with P03. 
  • Power button on underside of headset scope.
