How to download monthly PlayStation Plus games
Monthly games are games available for you to download and play at no extra cost during your PlayStation Plus membership. New games are added every calendar month.
When you select a PlayStation Plus game, you can choose to start the download to your PlayStation®5 console or PlayStation®4 console remotely via a web browser or the PlayStation App. Visit the guides below for more information.
From the Games home screen, scroll right and select PlayStation Plus.
Scroll to the Benefits tab and select Monthly Games.
Highlight the game and select Download.
From the function screen, scroll right and select PlayStation Plus.
Scroll down and select Monthly Games.
Highlight the game and select Add to Library > Download.
Please note, if you’ve downloaded a game or added it to your download list before it’s removed from monthly PlayStation Plus games, you’ll be able to play it for as long as you're a member of PlayStation Plus. If you choose to cancel your membership, you won’t be able to access any content downloaded as part of monthly PlayStation Plus games, but you’ll regain access if you subscribe again.
How to download PlayStation Plus Collection games (PS5 consoles only)
The PlayStation Plus collection is a library of generation-defining PS4 titles, available to download on PS5 consoles as a benefit to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- From the Games home screen, scroll right and select PlayStation Plus.
- Scroll to the Benefits tab and select PlayStation Plus Collection.
- Highlight the game and select Download.
- From May 9th, the PlayStation®Plus Collection will no longer be available as a PlayStation Plus benefit. You can add any of the titles from the PlayStation Plus Collection to your Game Library before May 9th and play at any time in the future with an active PlayStation Plus membership.
With a PlayStation Plus Premium membership, you can access the game catalogue and classics catalogue.
A PlayStation Plus Premium membership also allows you to stream many PlayStation Plus game catalogue and classic catalogue games to PS5 consoles, PS4 consoles and PC.
