How to find PS5 console serial and model numbers

Find serial and model numbers on PlayStation®5 consoles.

It's recommended that you have these numbers ready when contacting PlayStation Support.

How to find the serial number of your PS5 console

  1. Go to the home screen and select Settings > System > System Software. 
  2. Select Console Information.
    The number is located next to Serial Number.

The serial number consists of a long series of numbers and is located at the bottom of the console when the console is positioned vertically.

If attached, remove the base to reveal the PS5 console serial number.

How to find the model number of your PS5 console

The model number consists of the letters CFI, followed by a series of numbers and a letter. The model number is located on the bottom of the console when positioned vertically.

If attached, remove the base to reveal the PS5 console model number.
