You can verify your age by selecting a method that suits you; mobile number, facial scan, ID, or credit card. Verification methods are provided by our service provider, Yoti.
For the best experience, we recommend using the following:
Yoti is our secure age-verification service provider. Yoti’s age verification is used in industries including gaming, social media, and age-restricted e-commerce.
We are piloting an age verification process for players who register for new accounts in the UK and Ireland. If you are setting up an adult account, you will be asked to provide proof that you are over the minimum age for that type of account using an age verification service.
At this time, this age verification pilot is only rolling out in the UK and Ireland.
This verification relies on matching the information your mobile provider has on file for you. As long as you are the owner of the phone contract and your details match, you’ll be able to confirm your details.

If you enter the wrong verification code, you will see an error screen that includes a button to send a new code to your phone. Tap this button and try again when you receive the new code via SMS.

You can take the photo using any of these devices. For best results, we advise using your mobile phone as this will take a better-quality picture.
You need to take a photo of your passport, driving license, or national ID. Once you select your issuing country you can see a list of valid document IDs accepted.
Once you’ve scanned your ID, it can take between 3 and 6 minutes to confirm your identity.
If you don’t have an ID document, you won’t be able to confirm your age with this method. We suggest using other age verification methods instead.
You need to enter your credit card number, expiry date, CVC number, and your postcode. Our service provider Yoti will send these details to a payment provider to confirm the card is valid.
As part of this process, Yoti LTD will charge £0.30 to your card and refund it right away. This confirms the card is current and valid, and also proves you’re an adult.
If you don’t have a credit card, you can use one of the alternative methods available to confirm your age.
Your credit card details are only shared with the payment provider to confirm your age. No human ever sees these details and our service provider Yoti deletes them as soon as your age verification is complete.

No. While Yoti LTD charges £0.30 to your card to verify your card is valid, our service provider Yoti will refund the £0.30 as soon as the age verification is complete.
No, your credit card needs to be in date to complete age verification.
You will see a pending transaction for £0.30 from YOTI LTD.
If your age couldn’t be verified with the method you chose, you can go back selecting a different one. If you still are unable to verify your age after multiple attempts, you can choose to verify your age later or contact customer support for assistance.
If you select [Verify Age Later], you can still proceed to create your account. You might be asked to verify your age later.
You’ll see this message if your camera permissions are turned off. To fix it, tap the camera icon in your address bar to open your camera settings. Here you can give your browser permission to access your camera, then try again.
Make sure you’re in a well-lit area and the camera on your device is clean. If you’re using a laptop or tablet, try using a smartphone instead.
Information you provide for age verification will be handled securely and will be deleted immediately after the process is completed.
If you choose to verify your age by using your mobile number, you can add your mobile number to your account. You can use this in cases such as 2-step verification and password recovery.
Once your photo has been used to estimate your age, it is deleted right away via an automated process by our service provider, Yoti.
Information you provide for age verification will be handled securely and will be deleted immediately after the process is completed.
