- Go to Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection and check the network status. Retry connecting to the network.
- If the error persists, the network may be unstable. Try the following:
- Restart the system and retry.
- If you are using a Wi-Fi connection, place the PlayStation®4 console system and the router closer together, make sure there are no obstructions between them.
- Other devices on your network might be using a large amount of bandwidth. Wait until they are finished.
- Try other to connect to a different network if available.
- Check the PlayStation® status information.
