When you use your console to play games or apps, PlayStation collects some information about you.
We collect information such as: your name and age when you create an account, your user name, password, profile photo, language, the games that you play, the Trophies you earn when you play and the serial number of your device (which is like its name).
This information is used for things like:
We only use this information to message you if we need to tell you about something important, like changes to our rules, or if you break our rules.
We will never use the information we know about you to send or show you ads.
We keep your information safe and only tell other people your information when we need to, or if the adult who looks after you asks us to. For example, we share information with:
