Who is Sonic the Hedgehog?

Sonic the Hedgehog is the super-fast and heroic definition of platform gaming for 35 years.

Debuting in 1991 as Sega’s premier mascot, Sonic set the standard for high-speed platforming as he raced through enchanting, surreal and vibrant settings. His usual mission: gather some friends, secure the Chaos Emeralds and stop the evil plans of Dr. Eggman.

Tails

Miles “Tails” Prower is a kind-hearted young fox with two tails, and by spinning them like propellers he can fly in the sky! Tails is also a brilliant inventor, mechanic and pilot.

Knuckles

Shadow

Shadow the Hedgehog bears an uncanny resemblance to Sonic in both appearance and ability, marking the two hedgehogs as eternal rivals. By harnessing the power of a Chaos Emerald, Shadow can bend space and time through his signature technique: Chaos Control.

Rouge

Rouge the Bat is an elite spy with a penchant for rare jewels. Specialising in high-stakes missions for the likes of presidents and military commanders, she is alluring, self-assured, and always a step ahead of her opposition.

Jet

Jet the Hawk is the proud leader of the Babylon Rogues. He relishes his role as a delinquent, but feels a sharp obligation to excel in all that he does. He's a capable leader but his success owes a lot to the patience and acceptance of his companions, Wave and Storm.

Dr. Eggman

Dr. Eggman is an evil genius perpetually pursuing his plans of world domination. Although his real name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Sonic started calling him "Eggman" as a joke. However, he claimed the name as his own, and he's been calling himself Dr. Eggman ever since.

Metal Sonic

Metal Sonic is the ultimate mechanical rival to Sonic, specifically engineered by Dr. Eggman to match the hedgehog’s speed and power.

Sage

Sage is an enigmatic young girl – an advanced artificial intelligence created by Dr. Eggman as his most sophisticated programme yet. Calm, analytical and observant, Sage evaluates threats and simulates countermeasures with remarkable precision in order to protect the doctor at all costs.

Zavok

Zavok is the leader of the Deadly Six, the strongest of the Zeti clan and the top student under the legendary martial artist, Master Zik. He has the soul of a warrior and relentlessly seeks out the toughest foes to prove himself as the true champion.
