Save the memorable moments in your games on PlayStation®5 consoles by taking screenshots and recording video clips.
Take Screenshot
Take a screenshot of your current game screen.
Start New Recording
Start a new recording of your gameplay. When you're done recording, press the create button to open the create menu, and then select Stop Recording.
You can record up to 1 hour of gameplay.
Save Recent Gameplay
Video of your recent gameplay is continuously and automatically recorded. You can save anywhere from the last 15 seconds to up to 1 hour of gameplay.
Some content can't be captured. Some scenes are blocked and won't be included in your video clips.
A ) Recently created
Select the thumbnail to open the Recently created card. You can view up to 15 of your most recent screenshots and video clips.
B ) Capture methods
Save Recent Gameplay, Take Screenshot, Start New Recording.
C) Broadcast
Jump right into a broadcast from the create menu.
D ) Share Screen
Stream your gameplay to members of your party.
E) Capture Options
Change the format and resolution of your screenshots or video clips. You can include your mic's audio as well as your voice chat audio. If you have a compatible display, you can also enable 4K recording.
You can change the function of the create button by customising your capture settings.
Change the function of the create button by selecting from Standard, Easy Screenshots and Easy Video Clips.
Enable HDR (High Dynamic Range) and change the file type your screenshots are saved as. HDR is enabled only while your console is connected to a compatible display.
Change the file type and resolution for when you record a video clip.
Select Video Clip format and then select whether to include your microphone or voice chat audio. When including voice chat audio, make sure to ask the voice chat members if it's alright to include their voices in your video clips.
