If your voucher code is not for DLC select what your code should be adding to your account to find a solution to the issue:

From the function menu go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management] > [Services List].
On the XMB™ home menu go to [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management] > [Transaction Management] > [Services List].
Go to [PlayStatoin Store] > [Options] > [Services List].
Sign in to your account, go the the Media tab and select [Games].
Alternatively, go to [Transaction History] on the account management website or on your PlayStation system to check. The redemption should be shown as ‘Product Purchase’ and the voucher code will be shown on the transaction detail screen. How do I resolve a voucher code problem?
Please note that you may be asked to provide proof of purchase and a copy of the voucher - so do not dispose of either until the issue has been resolved.
