Master account unable to use existing wallet funds

This article explains the reasons that you cannot use existing wallet funds to make a purchase on PlayStation Store and provides the general steps to try before contacting us.

  1. Check that the wallet funds are enough to buy the product. If your wallet did not have enough funds add more using an accepted payment method.
  2. Link your credit or debit card information to your account.
  3. If PlayStation Network is offline check PlayStation Forums to find out when PlayStation Network will be available and make your purchase after this time.
