Missing in-game currency purchased from PS Store

Learn how to fix issues with currencies such as Fortnite V-Bucks, FIFA Points and Call of Duty Points not appearing after being purchased from PS Store.

How does an in-game currency purchase work?

When a player purchases an in-game currency from PS Store, the transaction is verified and then communicated to the game servers. There are a couple of scenarios that might cause this transaction to fail. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to identify your issue.

 
 

Is there a regional issue?

Please check the region of your account/PS Store and the region of the game you are trying to buy currency for. DLC and add-ons are locked to the region of the PS Store they were purchased from and will not be compatible with discs from another region.

Has the service entitlement been transferred?

If your PS Store and game regions match but you are still having issues, please check whether the service entitlement (in-game currency) has been transferred from PS Store to the game server:

  1. Sign in to PSN: [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Sign in]
  2. [Settings] > [Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Services List]
  3. Select the currency purchase to open the service page.

If the "Remaining:" section shows "-" and the "Expires:" section shows a date, the currency has been transferred to the game server. Please contact the publisher to rectify this issue.  

If the "Remaining:" section shows "1", the currency has not been transferred from PS Store to the game server. To rectify this issue, please contact PlayStation Support*.

  1. Go to [PlayStation Network] > sign in > [Account management] > [Transaction Management] > [Services List].
  2. Select the currency purchase to open the service page.

If the "Remaining:" section shows "1", the currency has not been transferred from PS Store to the game. To rectify this issue, please contact PlayStation Support*.

  1. Sign in to account management and select the media tab.
  2. Select the currency purchase from the list to open the service page.

If the "Remaining:" section shows "1", the currency has not been transferred from PS Store to the game. To rectify this issue, please contact PlayStation Support*.
