Web / PlayStation App: Delete card details

This article explains how to remove your credit or debit card details from your account via PlayStation App or web browser.

Funds added to your PSN account wallet can't be refunded. This is because you request immediate access to wallet funds when you complete your purchase. For more detail, see the PlayStation Store Cancellation Policy.

If other people can access Account Management or PlayStation Store through your account on any device they may be able to use your payment methods to top up the wallet attached to it.

If you think that your account is not secure, or if someone else has your PlayStation system for any reason (for example you have sent it away for service or it has been stolen), we recommend deleting your payment details and changing your account password.

How do I delete my payment details?

Payment details are attached to the account, not the device, so removing them on one device will remove them from your account on all devices.

You can reach Account Management in a number of ways:

  • PlayStation App

Tap [PlayStation Store] on the home screen and go to [Online ID] > [Account Settings].

  • PlayStation Store

Go to PlayStation Store. Sign in, go to your Online ID at the top of the page and click [Account Settings].

  • Account Management website

Click here and sign in for the account management site.

  1. Go to the Account tab and select [Billing Information].
  2. Select 'Delete' to remove billing information.
  3. You will see a message confirming that your details have been deleted.
