Placing the emphasis firmly on mangling your motor, Crash 'n' Burn is a high-speed exercise in large-scale destruction. Placing you behind the wheel of a fully customisable car that you can 'mod' to your heart's content, Crash 'n' Burn actively encourages you to eschew the rules of the road and aim for all-out auto anarchy. And an online mode allows you to take your vehicle into a range of tyre-torturing multiplayer games with up to 16 players.

Head for the backstreets of Miami, San Francisco, LA and New York, in this arcade-style racer which pits you against 15 other drivers in a gritty dash for the finish line. And don't expect to escape unscathed along the way. The competition is fierce, and the drivers are even fiercer. Battle the opposition at nail-biting speeds as metal crumples in a shower of sparks - and try to stay in the race.

Choose from an impressive stable of vehicles, paint, polish and personalise the body work, and beef up your pride and joy with new components (giant spoilers, anyone?). Once you're happy with your creation, all that's left to do is tune up your engine and get out on the roads.

Go it alone in single player races, or challenge other players with a brace of online modes, such as 'last man standing' and 'bomb tag'. There's even the option to watch that bone-crunching crash from multiple angles with player-controlled cameras set up throughout the courses.

    • Customise your vehicle: add new bodywork, give it a respray, tune up the engine...

    • Take the action online with a range of multiplayer modes, designed with destruction in mind

    • Cause extreme crashes in the backstreets of Miami, San Francisco, LA and New York
