ELIGIBILITY RULES
If You successfully enroll in the Offer, You shall earn a Statement Credit in the amount(s) outlined in Your Invitation, for each “Qualified Payment” You make using Your Debit Card during the
“Promotional Period.” For purposes of this Offer, the “Promotional Period” means the period commencing after You accept the Offer Terms, if at all, and continues for the length of time outlined in your Invitation, unless terminated earlier pursuant to the Exclusionary Rules as defined below. In addition, a “Qualified Payment” shall mean a payment using Your Debit Card to renew Your PS Plus subscription, subject to the Exclusionary Rules as defined below.
The “Exclusionary Rules” are:
a. Renewal Subscription Payments Only. Only “Renewal Subscription Payments” may be deemed as a Qualified Payment eligible for a Statement Credit. For new PS Plus subscribers, a Renewal Subscription Payment shall be a renewal payment made towards Your subscription after the initial subscription sign up payment (“Initial Subscription Payment”) using Your Debit Card. Your Initial Subscription Payment is not a Qualified Payment. If You have an existing PS Plus subscription at the time of opening Your Debit Card (“Existing Subscriber”), a Renewal Subscription Payment shall be any renewal payment made towards Your subscription using the Debit Card. You are not an Existing Subscriber if Your subscription has lapsed for any reason. A PS Plus Subscription purchase made using the “Buy Again'” feature (available in account settings or the cancellation flow) is not a Renewal Subscription Payment as the feature creates a new subscription that activates only after Your current subscription ends or is terminated, and thus is not a Qualified Payment.
b. Pre-Funding PlayStation Wallet (PS Wallet). If You use Your Debit Card to pre-fund Your PS Wallet and Your PS Wallet funds are subsequently used to make Your Renewal Subscription Payment(s) without directly pulling from Your Debit Card at the time each payment is made, such payments are not Qualified Payments. Only payments that involve debiting Your Debit Card to make a Renewal Subscription Payment count as a Qualified Payment, subject to these Terms.
c. Other Virtual Wallets. Renewal Subscription Payments made using the Debit Card through a virtual wallet (e.g., Apple Pay,) or other online payment mechanisms (e.g. PayPal, Klarna) are not Qualified Payments.
d. Non-Eligibility Period. Renewal Subscription Payments made within 20 days following a previous Qualified Payment (the “Non-Eligibility Period”) are not Qualified Payments.
e. Payments through third parties. Renewal Subscription Payments made through third-party sites are not Qualified Payments.
f. SIE reserves the right, in its sole discretion to modify, suspend, or cancel the Offer, the Offer Period, Promotional Period, and/or Limits outlined in Your invitation at any time with or without prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where reasonably practicable, SIE will provide advance 30 day notice of any such changes through accepted electronic means (e.g., email, mobile application, or website).
g. Without limiting any of the foregoing, SIE may withhold, deny, or revoke Statement Credits if it determines, in its sole discretion, that You have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming of the offer, including but not limited to (i) creating multiple accounts; (ii) repeatedly canceling and renewing subscriptions; (iii) engaging in manufactured spending or non-bona fide transactions; or (iv) any activity intended to circumvent these Terms.
Issuance: Statement Credits are issued up to 30 days following the PS Plus subscription renewal date, regardless of when the Qualified Payment was made. Processing may take longer in certain circumstances, including fraud review or operational delays.
Offer Period, Promotional Period and Limits: The Offer Period, Promotional Period, and applicable limits (“Limits”) on Statement Credits are as published by SIE in Your Invitation.
