How to link services on PS5 consoles

Find out how to link your social media accounts and streaming services to your account on a PlayStation®5 console.

Linking your social media and streaming accounts allows you to expand your PlayStation experience beyond your PS5™ console:

Join Discord voice chat on PS5 consoles
Live-stream your gameplay
Share your screenshots and clips
Watch media streaming services

When a service needs to be linked before you can use it, you’ll see a message on your screen. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your information.

How to link a service on PS5 consoles 

  1. From the home screen, select Settings > Users and Accounts > Linked Services.
    All available services are listed. If you don't see a service, it may not be available in your country or region.
  2. Select the service that you want to link from the list, and then select Link Account.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to link the service.
    Linked appears next to linked services on the screen in step 1.
  • By linking a service, you're allowing some of your account data from the linked service to be shared with PlayStation.
  • Some services can be linked through apps on your console. Select the app for the service you want to link from All Apps in your media home. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to link the service.
  • You can also link some streaming services when you broadcast your gameplay or share your captures for the first time.

How to unlink a service on PS5 consoles

  1. From the home screen, select Settings > Users and Accounts > Linked Services.
  2. Select the service that you want to unlink from the list, and then select Unlink Account.
  3. Select Yes, Unlink.
    The service is unlinked, and Linked no longer appears next to the service.
