When you use your console, like when you play Astro Bot or LittleBigPlanet, information about you travels over the internet to PlayStation. We need this information to:
- Provide you with a fun service.
- Talk to you in the language that you speak, read, and write.
- Help to keep you safe online.
We only use this information to message you if we need to tell you about something important, like changes to our rules. We will never use your information to send you ads.
Your Information is safe with us
We keep your information safe, and only tell other people your information when we need to, or if the adult who looks after you asks us to.
Like when other games show your username to your friends online, we need to tell the company providing that game your online ID .
We never share your name or password with anyone else, and neither should you.
You're in control
You can find out what PlayStation knows about you. You can also ask us to change or delete certain information.
If you want to know more about any of these things talk to your parents or the adult who looks after you.
